Chocolate Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Brownie like cookies, with a hint of peanut butter, which will delight the chocolate lovers in your life.

Ingredients

1 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

6 tablespoons butter, room temperature

1 egg

2 cups flour

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons sugar

36 unwrapped chocolate peanut butter candy kisses

Honey Is Sweeter Than Sugar

Due to the high level of fructose, honey is 25% sweeter than table sugar.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Using an electric mixer beat together honey, butter and egg for 2 minutes. Add flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Beat to combine.
Place sugar on a plate. Drop dough one tablespoon at a time into sugar and roll to form a ball. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Gently press a chocolate kiss, flat side down, halfway into the center of each ball. Space cookies about 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake for 8 minutes. Do not over bake. Remove to rack to cool.
