Coconut-Pecan Cream Cheese Spread

Quick, easy and so delicious. Spread on toast, muffins or whole wheat crackers.

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature

1/2 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

1/4 cup coconut, toasted*

1/4 cup pecans, chopped

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a small bowl, beat together cream cheese, honey and almond extract. Stir in coconut and pecans. Refrigerate until ready to use.
*To toast coconut, spread on a piece of foil. Place under the broiler and toast until coconut just begins to brown. Watch carefully as it will toast very quicky.
