Cranberry Walnut Topping

Enhance your pumpkin pie this holiday with a yummy topping of honey coated dried cranberries and nuts.

Ingredients

1/3 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/3 cup dried cranberries

3 tablespoons brandy

1 1/2 cups walnuts, halves or pieces, toasted

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

In a medium saucepan heat honey, cranberries and brandy. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Stir in walnuts. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature. Serve pumpkin pie with a spoonful of topping.
Yields: 2 cups
