Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans
2 minced shallots
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
3/4 cup olive oil
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
lettuce leaves
1/3 cup red onion, thinly sliced
salt and pepper to taste

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Blanche green beans until crisp-tender. Combine shallots and mustard. Stir in the vinegar, honey, and whisk in the oil. Place warm beans in a large bowl. Add red pepper slices and toss with dressing. Serve on top of lettuce leaves. Garnish with red onion rings. Serves 4.
