Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Preheat oven to 300&deg.
In a large bowl combine oats, nuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and wheat germ.

In a small bowl combine oil, honey, vanilla and cinnamon until blended. Pour over oat mixture. Toss to combine. Pour onto a large baking sheet or roasting pan. Bake 15 minutes. Mix. Bake 10 – 15 minutes longer stirring every 5 minutes until mixture is golden brown. Remove from oven and return mixture to bowl. Add raisins and dried fruit. Toss. Let cool completely before storing in a large container or ziplock bags.
