Honey Tips

Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°. Wash game hens and pat dry. Place in a roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer glaze until it thickens slightly, stirring constantly. Brush some of the glaze on all sides of hens. Sprinkle hens with salt and pepper. Roast in oven, basting every 10 minutes. Cook for 45 minutes to an hour or until done. To test, pierce skin of thigh to see if juice runs clear. Remove to plates and drizzle with remaining sauce. Serves 4.
