Romaine, Orange and Avocado Salad

A light refreshing salad infused with the sweet flavor of oranges.

Ingredients

salt and pepper to taste

Salad:

red onion, 4 very thin slices

4 cups baby romaine lettuce leaves, or 1 head romaine washed, dried and torn into pieces

2 naval oranges, peeled and sliced

1 avocado, peeled and sliced

Dressing:

1/3 cup orange juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

Dressing:
In a small bowl whisk together all dressing ingredients until well combined.
Salad:
Place all salad ingredients in a large bowl. Drizzle with desired amount of dressing and toss.
