Honey Tips
Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods
Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
Apples:
Melt butter in a skillet. Add sliced apples and lemon juice. Sauté about 4 minutes until apples are starting to brown. Flip apple slices over and sauté an additional 4 minutes. Drizzle honey over apples and cook 2-3 minutes until mixture begins to caramelize. Remove from heat.
To assemble sandwiches place 4 slices of bread on counter. Top each with one slice of cheese, two slices of turkey and a few spoonfuls of apples. Place ¼ cup of arugula greens on each sandwich. Top with remaining bread slices. Brush outside of sandwiches with melted butter. Place in a hot skillet and cook about 3 minutes until bread turns golden. Turn sandwiches and continue cooking until bread begins to brown and cheese is melted.
