Ingredients
2 pounds asparagus, washed and trimmed
2 cloves garlic, peeled and halved
8 fresh basil leaves, or 2 teaspoons dried basil
1 Tablespoon GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
Topping:
1/4 cup butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, coarsely chopped
salt to taste

Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
In a large deep skillet, boil 2 cups of water. Add asparagus, garlic, basil and honey. Cover pan. Cook over medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes, until asparagus are bright green and crisp. Drain. Discard basil and garlic.
Topping:
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add garlic and sauté one to two minutes. Add basil, stir well and remove from heat.
Serve asparagus with topping.
