Roasted Carrots

Roasting carrots with honey gives them a beautiful golden color and intensifies their sweet flavor. A perfect holiday recipe to prepare ahead and just reheat in the oven.

Ingredients

1 pound baby carrots

1/2 cup onion, chopped

2 tablespoons butter, melted

3 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 large garlic clove, minced

No need to refrigerate it. It can be stored unopened, indefinitely, at room temperature in a dry cupboard.

Directions

Preheat oven to 475 °. Spray a 9×13-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Place carrots and onions in a bowl. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over carrots and onions. Toss to coat.
Arrange carrots and onions on prepared pan. Roast 15 minutes. Stir. Roast another 15-20 minutes until carrots just begin to brown.
