Sauteed Red Cabbage and Onions

This is a tasty and easy way to prepare red cabbage. It’s full of flavor and the jewel-like color makes a great presentation when served with pork or roast beef.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

6 cups thinly sliced red cabbage

1 medium red onion, halved and thinly sliced

1/3 cup water

2/3 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY

1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add sliced cabbage and onions and sauté 12 minutes, stirring often. Add remaining ingredients. Stir to combine and continue cooking another 15 minutes until cabbage is just tender.
