Honey Tips
Honey Is One of the Oldest Foods
Honey is one of the oldest foods in existence. It was found in the tomb of King Tut and was still edible since honey never spoils.
Directions
In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
Drain fat from skillet and discard. Add onions and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients, except bacon. Pour into a quart casserole dish. Bake 40 minutes covered. Stir in reserved bacon, remove bay leaf. Bake uncovered 15 minutes longer, adding more water if necessary.
